The High Cost America Is Paying For Not Decisively Killing Communism When The Cold War Ended
Cultural Marxism, commonly referred to as Multiculturalism or Progressivism today, is flourishing in America in large part because Marxist ideology was never decisively put to death at the Cold War’s end. The West, in particular America, assumed and brazenly declared that since Communism/ Marxism was dead it no longer represented a threat. The Soviet Union had collapsed, the Berlin Wall had fallen, and ergo the Cold War was over, end of discussion.
However, unlike the end of WW11 and it ensuing de-Nazification process that discredited Nazi ethnic and racial hatred to a great extent, a similar process relative to Marxism was not implemented. To the contrary, when the Soviets lost the Cold War the basic tenet of class hatred remained untouched and as popular as ever as did its underlying Marxist ideology that was never effectively denounced. In its broadest sense, this naive omission left a wounded enemy that would live to fight another day… and it has indeed fought back with a vengeance.
Perhaps ignoring lose ideological ends was militarily prudent at the time, but it represented the very height of naivety and gross stupidity. This decision not only enabled Marxism to live on, but it prevented the ideology of governmental tyranny and suffering incurred by hundreds of millions of people as a direct result of Marxist ideas to be confronted and concluded with finality.
In fact, Communists remained in power throughout most of the former Warsaw bloc countries and their Western peers came to power all over the world, particularly in Europe. The West’s naïve assumption that Communism was finished allowed many Marxist ideals to mutate into new, seemingly non- threatening forms. Such naivety also enabled the propagation of Marxist ideology by many of its prestigious acolytes, party members, and Western apologists to continue without interruption. The efforts of such proponents were zealous and filled with renewed enthusiasm for another assault on the detested Western capitalists.
The manner in which this malignant Marxist cancer infected the West is very simple. While the military capability of Soviet Union Marxism with its heavy weaponry, long-range missiles, etc., may have collapsed, the number of Cultural Marxist acolytes in the West significantly increased. This is because their ideology was considered far less threatening and thus to a great extent virtually ignored.
However, the Cultural Marxist’s ultimate goal of destroying Western culture and values and replacing them with Marxist ideology thrived. In fact, they were even more dangerous precisely because their hatred of the West and true goals were concealed under different labels, e.g., Political Correctness.
During the past 25 years Cultural Marxism’s concepts and thinking have been subtly, slowly, systematically, and successfully introduced into every aspect of mainstream America and it is rapidly becoming the state’s ideology underpinned by Political Correctness.
Political Correctness sounds innocuous but it is a soft term for multiculturalism, which is a euphemism for Marxism and is used to conceal its true ideology. Ergo, Political Correctness is Marxism. Inherent therein are loss of freedom of expression, thought control, inversion of the traditional values and social order, and ultimately, a totalitarian state enforcing radical egalitarianism.
Political Correctness is the weapon of choice used by left wing politicians, anti-Americans, and other radical groups to relentlessly demonize, criticize, and bully their opponents. Loud mouthed liberals e.g., Reid, Schumer, Feinstein, Jackson-Lee, Cummings, Ellison, Clinton, Sharpton, Jackson, and their ilk consistently use this harsh, repulsive Marxist tactic of intolerance against anyone disagreeing with them. In connection therewith, their primary derogatory terms du jour are racist and fascist since religious and cultural attacks are passé.
The components of Marxism extend far beyond vicious ad homonym personal attacks. Multiculturalism/Progressivism is a radical social movement that has dramatically transformed American values and culture. It’s not about tolerance, inclusion, and diversity as proponents claim, but rather it’s an anti-Western hate ideology designed to divide and conquer by pitting various groups against each other, but united against the White male who is considered to epitomize evil.
Today Political Correctness is rampant in academia, the media, government, the judiciary, religion, the military, law enforcement, corporations, foundations, and now incredibly, sports. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness can be seen throughout these environments where “PC” has taken over. Freedoms of speech, the press, thought, and behavior have virtually been eliminated. Cultural Marxists are winning the culture war and in the process are transforming America into a society of radical egalitarianism enforced by the power of the state.
The West, and most importantly in this blog, America, is now paying the incalculable cost for being asleep at the wheel and allowing the greatest country in history to be destroyed from within its own borders. Not only has Marxism survived, it is thriving and continues to grow stronger. Cultural Marxist’s ideas on race and de-facto open borders virtually dominate public discourse, while their critics are being vilified and demonized as racists, fascists, and insane.
By cleverly hiding their true intentions Cultural Marxists have radically transformed America. They are destroying her foundations with an incredible amount of eager, willful media assistance and complete lack of meaningful resistance from ranking DC politicians. In fact, the acts of these unscrupulous, rapacious politicians evince more concern for personal financial gain by any means and other self-interests, than in their constituents’ very existence… until the next election. More disgusting, however, the effluvium aside, their actions suggest indifference towards and apathy for preserving American values and traditions. And… actions always speak louder than words.
Karl Marx, the founder of Communism, used the term “useful idiots” to accurately describes naïve people doing his grunt work by propagating Marxist ideology. In addition to the private sector, there is no shortage of useful idiots in powerful federal and state governmental positions in America today… and one in particular is tragically at the top.
